Houseflame is an independent UK stove and fire retailer. We hold genuine stock from the brands we believe in, we tell you plainly what will and will not work in your room, and we say no when a fire is the wrong answer.

We supply. Your installer fits.
We are a supplier, not an installer. We do not fit fires and we do not arrange fitting — you appoint your own installer, and that keeps the responsibility, the certificate and the warranty in one clear place.
What we do instead is get the choice right. Tell us the room, the chimney or lack of one, and your postcode, and we will tell you which of our fires can legally and physically go in — including when the honest answer is none of them.
A solid fuel appliance has to be signed off under Building Regulations Document J, and a gas appliance has to be fitted by a Gas Safe registered engineer. Line that up before you order and the rest is straightforward.
